Originally from Cartagena, Colombia, Alex Holguin moved to South Florida in 1996. After a stint in the U.S. Navy, and in his final year of college at The University of Miami studying Finance, Alex had an internship in an investment management firm and decided he had found his professional calling. Alex joined our firm in 2010; with over a decade of experience, he enjoys being part of the team which helps clients navigate through the ups and downs of financial markets and work towards staying on track to reach their retirement goals. A believer in a detailed and disciplined approach, Alex holds his Series 7, Series 66, Series 63, and Series 6 security registration with LPL Financial, as well as his Florida Life/Health & Variable Annuities licenses, and is working towards his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. He and his wife live in Aventura, and while Alex originally dreamt of being a soccer star, we are happy he set his sights on a career in the financial services industry instead.
